I am currently in full time employment, so being able to study at my own time and being able to be in control of my own studying was really important, and Walbrook provided that as part of their online degrees. Their model really works because you're able to juggle it around your current lifestyle more than the typical degree. Whether you're studying, whether you're part time, or whether you're parents, I would say just go for it.
As a Walbrook employer partner, your organisation can access exclusive fee reductions on LIBF professional qualifications – and your employees will also receive LIBF membership, giving them access to expert-led events, resources, and professional networks that support their growth at every stage of their career.

Your partnership with Walbrook gives employees access to a 20% tuition discount on all online master’s degrees. You can choose how to offer this benefit – by funding the programme directly or by allowing employees to self-fund at the same reduced rate. Either way, the process is straightforward, and the results deliver real value for your people and your business.
Whichever funding option you choose, your people can continue working full or part-time while studying – bringing new ideas, skills, and confidence straight back into your organisation.
Employees apply through our online application portal, selecting your organisation from the ‘Employer partnership’ dropdown to access the 20% tuition discount. Once eligibility checks are complete, we’ll issue you, the employer, an invoice for the full tuition fee with the 20% partner discount automatically applied.
Employees pay their own tuition but benefit from the same 20% partner discount when applying online, by selecting your organisation from the ‘Employer partnership’ dropdown. They can choose to pay per module or in full upfront, giving them a more affordable way to study while continuing to work.
Once you’ve chosen to partner with us, sharing the benefit of your partnership with your employees is simple. Our partnerships and enrolment teams will guide you and your staff through each stage – keeping everything clear, personal, and easy to manage.
We’ll arrange a short call to talk through the process, your organisation’s goals, and how Walbrook degrees can support them. You’ll also receive ready-to-share materials to promote the opportunity internally.
You can let employees know about Walbrook courses through your usual channels – newsletters, staff portals, team briefings, or webinars. If helpful, we can host short online sessions or Q&As to answer questions and build excitement.
Employees apply through our online application portal, selecting your organisation from the ‘Employer partnership’ dropdown to access the 20% tuition discount.
During the application, they’ll also:
Confirm how their degree will be funded – by your organisation or self-funded (both with a 20% tuition fee reduction).
Choose a payment option if self-funding – either per module or in full upfront to secure their place.
With 12 start dates each year, employees can begin their studies within weeks once their application and offer steps are complete.
During the application process, your employees will be asked to upload documents such as proof of qualifications, transcripts, or English language certificates (if required). Applicants who don’t meet the standard entry criteria may still be considered through recognition of prior learning – where relevant experience is taken into account.
Our enrolment team reviews each application, checks eligibility, and may issue a conditional offer if additional information or documents are needed. Once everything is confirmed, applicants receive an unconditional offer outlining the next steps.
Depending on your chosen funding route:
Employer-funded: Once eligibility checks are satisfied and your employee has been issued an unconditional offer, we’ll issue you with an invoice for the full tuition fee, with the 20% partner discount applied.
Employee-funded: Once eligibility checks are satisfied and your employee has been issued an unconditional offer, they are invited to either make their payment upfront in full (if that was their choice on the application form) or make payment for their first module(s) to accept. Full-time students pay for two modules upfront to confirm their place, while part-time students pay for one.
After payment or invoicing, we'll invite your employee to register as an official Walbrook student. They’ll receive an email with login details, ID upload instructions, and instructions on how to immediately access their online orientation module.
Your employee starts their degree on their selected start date – ready to bring fresh ideas, new knowledge, and greater confidence back into your organisation.

Contact Freddie McCann, our Partnerships Manager, to find out more about becoming a Walbrook employer partner.
We aim to make partnership as simple and flexible as possible. Some employers simply promote the opportunity internally, while others offer additional funding or study support. Our team will help you decide what level of involvement works best for your organisation.
Any organisation can partner with Walbrook – from small businesses to large corporations and public sector employers. Partnerships work best when there’s a shared goal to support staff development and create opportunities for professional growth.
Once you express interest, our Partnerships Manager will schedule a short call to learn more about your organisation’s goals. We’ll then provide a simple agreement outlining how the partnership works and give you everything you need to share the opportunity with your employees.
No – there’s no cost to joining our employer partnership network. The only cost applies when you choose to fund an employee’s degree directly. The 20% tuition discount applies to all employees studying through the partnership, whether they self-fund or are fully funded by their employer.
Once you’ve confirmed you’ll be funding an employee’s degree, you'll receive an invoice from us for the full programme fee, with your 20% partnership discount automatically applied.
We ask that the tuition fee payment be completed at least seven days before the student's chosen start date. If payment can’t be made by this deadline, don’t worry – your employee’s start will simply move to the next available monthly intake.
Yes – employees who are self-funding their degree through the 20% partnership discount can apply for a UK government Postgraduate Master’s Loan.
Loan payments are made directly to the student after they’ve started their degree, so they’ll need to pay upfront to accept their offer and secure their place – that’s one module if studying part time, or two modules if studying full time. This confirms their place before the programme begins.
Alternatively, students can choose to pay their full tuition upfront to secure their place immediately. They’ll still receive the 20% partner discount, arranged separately from their loan.
Employees whose tuition is fully funded by their employer aren’t eligible for a student loan, as their fees are already covered by the organisation.
For more detailed information about master’s loan eligibility, repayments, and application steps, you can refer your employees to our Master’s Loan Guide or our enrolment team.
All our online master’s degrees take around 14 months full time or 24 months part time to complete.
The full-time route is ideal for employees who want to progress quickly – allowing them to apply what they learn straight away and bring new insights back into your organisation sooner.
The part-time route offers greater flexibility for those balancing study with work and life commitments. It allows employees to develop their skills steadily while continuing to contribute to your business.
You may wish to consider which study duration best suits your organisation, based on how many study hours per week you’d like employees to dedicate alongside their roles. Our partnerships team can help you find the most realistic option before employees apply.
Online learning is fully digital from day one – everything from lectures and assessments to feedback and support is delivered through a dedicated online platform. Distance learning, by contrast, traditionally involves receiving materials by post or attending occasional in-person sessions.
At Walbrook, our programmes are designed exclusively for online learners. Employees access all learning materials, submit assessments, and interact with tutors 100% online – making study possible from anywhere in the world, without travel or time away from work.
Walbrook combines over 145 years of heritage in education with a London base at the heart of global commerce. Our location connects us with leading employers and industry experts who help shape our programmes to meet real business needs.
As a UK higher education provider, we’re listed on the Office for Students (OfS) Register and comply with all OfS Conditions of Registration, meaning our degrees are officially recognised and held to rigorous quality standards. We’re also members of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) – ensuring our teaching remains both academically sound and professionally relevant.
For our MBA programmes, we also draw on the Institute of Directors’ Competency Framework, aligning our curriculum with the leadership skills, knowledge, and mindset expected of today’s senior business professionals.
