Whether you completed your studies through LIBF or Walbrook Institute London, online or on campus, or through professional education, this moment recognises both your achievement and the drive that has defined your journey.

Your ceremony takes place in the Great Hall at London’s Guildhall – a historic setting at the heart of the City.
With its soaring arches and stained-glass windows, the hall has hosted monarchs, mayors, and momentous occasions since the 12th century. It’s a fitting backdrop to celebrate your own achievements – and to reflect the ambition and progress that our graduates carry into their futures.

Eligible students will receive an email invitation with a booking link via Ede & Ravenscroft.
Student tickets are free. Guest tickets are: £45 for adults and children over 12; £25 for children under 12; free for children under 5 (lap seat).
All bookings must be made by Wednesday 15 October 2025.
No, attendance is optional – though we’d love to celebrate with you on the day.

Gown hire and photography are managed exclusively by Ede & Ravenscroft (enter institution name: LIBF).
Check the UK Government guidelines to see if you or your guests need a visa to travel to London.
If you or your guests do need a visa, you’ll need a visa support letter from us. To request one, please complete our visa letter application form.

The ceremony will be live streamed on our Youtube channel.
The livestream will be available to view as a recording after the event.
Photography packages are optional extras.
Our team will capture photos and video during the day to share on our social media channels.
If you or your guests prefer not to be photographed, please let a member of staff know on the day.
If you are eligible, you’ll receive a formal invitation by email, with a booking link via Ede & Ravenscroft.
The ceremony is open to our degree programme graduands, Chartered Associates, and professional education students who have completed the following qualifications:
Professional Diploma in Banking & Finance
Advanced Diploma in Banking & Finance
Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice
CDCS Advocates
You may not be able to attend if you have not yet successfully completed your qualification or if there are outstanding fees on your account. Once these are resolved, you will be eligible to attend a future ceremony.
Accepting is simple – just book your complimentary student ticket and any guest tickets through the link in your formal invitation email by Wednesday 15 October 2025.

Yes. We understand that personal or professional commitments may mean you can’t attend this year. You can defer your place at graduation for up to two years.

We normally issue award certificates and transcripts within 30 days of your award being approved by the Programme Assessment Board. This ensures that every certificate is checked and verified. For further details, please see our certification policy.
The name on your certificate will match the awarding body at the time you registered for your qualification. This is to ensure your award is accurate and reflects the institution you studied with.
If you ever need to explain our institution name change – for example to an employer – we can provide a formal letter confirming the institution name at the time of your study. You can request this now or at any point in the future.
All Higher Education students (on campus, online, degree apprentices), registered pre-August 2023:
The name on your certificate will be London Institute of Banking and Finance.
All HE students (on campus, online, degree apprentices), registered between August 2023 - 1 April 2025:
The name on your certificate will be LIBF.
All HE students, registered from 2 April 2025:
The name on your certificate will be Walbrook Institute London.
Gowning services are provided by Ede & Ravenscroft.
Higher education graduands are required to wear an academic gown.
Professional education students, Chartered Associates, and CDCS Advocates do not need to hire a gown and should wear smart attire.
Staff will be on hand on the day to direct you to where you can collect and return your gown. Gowns can be collected on arrival and need to be returned by 3pm.

Graduands should wear formal attire under their academic gowns. This typically includes a dark suit or dress, and appropriate footwear.
Professional education students, CDCS Advocates and Chartered Associates are not required to wear a gown and should wear smart attire on the day.
Photography services are provided by Ede & Ravenscroft, who offer a range of packages you can pre-book or purchase on the day.

While there’s no strict requirement, we encourage guests to dress formally or in smart attire to match the celebratory nature of the event.
Guest tickets can be purchased at the same time as you confirm your own attendance by booking your own complimentary ticket.
Yes, children are very welcome at graduation. Please note that children must have their own ticket unless they are under five and sitting on a lap.

Hard copies of the letter can also be provided on request. Please allow plenty of time for us to send you the letter of support for your visa application to avoid any disappointment.
