Walbrook: a finalist among leading EdTech providers

In its entry, Walbrook was able to highlight the work to build and deliver a range of engaging and interactive online MBA and MSc programmes. The Walbrook team also described how they had brought all LIBF professional education examinations in-house so they can be delivered online, improving outcomes and experience for banking and finance professionals.
Degrees designed for flexible, modern learning
Walbrook’s new online degrees are designed specifically for remote learning, to help students study flexibly and achieve their goals. The degree content and teaching methods are based on the latest best practice to help students learn and progress.
Rather than comprising PowerPoints, PDFs and prerecorded/streamed traditional lectures, Walbrook’s postgraduate programmes use engaging online learning activities through the Brightspace virtual learning environment. Walbrook uses the same platform to deliver its industry-leading LIBF professional education qualifications.
A track record of award-winning innovation
This is not the first time the institute has been recognised for its use of education technology. In 2025, it won a UK Operational Excellence Award for Best Use of Technology in Operations for its development and delivery of LIBF qualifications. Walbrook was also shortlisted at the same awards for Third-Level Education Provider of the Year for this work.
The judges of the Ed Tech & Content Provider category were particularly looking for awards entries which demonstrated best-in-class digital solutions to support the educational needs of students and learners.
