Your personal data is processed for the purpose of enabling you to use the website, to prevent and rectify malfunctions of the website, and to optimise it regarding user behaviour. The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest.
2. Survey participation
We process the data referred to under V. 2 in order to be able to advise you on decisions in connection with your studies. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with GDPR, which you can revoke at any time by emailing dataprotection@walbrook.ac.uk.
3. Lottery
If you take part in our contest, we will process your personal data to enable you to participate and to send you the prize if you win. Here, the legal basis is your consent in accordance with GDPR.
III. Recipients
1. Conduct of the survey and sweepstakes
Your data will be made accessible to those Walbrook Institute London employees who are responsible for conducting and supervising the survey. Walbrook Institute London may use third-party service providers, such as IT and marketing firms, to receive IT and marketing services. Insofar as these third-party service providers have access to your data, they will be obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with applicable data protection regulations. b. Qualtrics: For the survey, we alternatively use the service provider Qualtrics, LLC, 333 W. River Park Drive, Provo, Utah 84604, USA ("Qualtrics"). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Qualtrics according to Art. 28 GDPR, which is based on the UK addendum in addition to the EU standard contractual clauses. IV. Transfer
Walbrook Institute London will not transfer your personal data to a third country outside the EU. Any other transfer will only take place if Walbrook Institute London is legally or officially obliged to do so or if the transfer is necessary in the context of your use of the website. V. Data Categories
1. Use of the website
The following data categories are processed by Walbrook Institute London in the course of your use of the website: Log data, such as your IP address including details of requests to our website, such as date and time, status and amount of data transferred, information about the browser you use (browser type and version number), information about the website from which you accessed our website. We process the following categories of data as part of your participation in the survey: First name, surname and e-mail address if you take part in our survey. The provision of your personal data is necessary because we store your answers to your student profile and use them as described under II. 2. Depending on the type of survey, we may also process other categories of your personal data if you take part in the survey and voluntarily provide them in the survey.
3. Lottery
We process the following categories of data as part of your participation in the competition: First name and surname, e-mail address if you take part in our competition and, if applicable, your address so that we can send you the prize if you win.
VI. How long will your personal data be stored
In principle, we delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed for the required purpose and no retention obligations exist.
1. Use of the website
Session cookies are deleted as described under item II. 1 as soon as you end your session.
2. Survey
Personal data that we have received in connection with your participation in the survey will be stored for a period of four years from the date of your participation and deleted thereafter.
3. Lottery
Personal data which we have received in connection with your participation in our competition will be stored for a period of 1 year from the date of participation and deleted thereafter
VII. Your Rights

VIII. Automated Decision Making and Profiling

The evaluation of your user behaviour using Google Analytics is carried out after shortening the IP address, so that an assignment to the person is no longer possible.
