Scholarship

To support your MSc Banking and Finance studies, we offer an Academic or Professional Scholarship that provides a tuition fee reduction of £3,000 for international students and £1,200 for UK students, spread over the duration of the course.

- 2:1 honours bachelor degree, or equivalent, from a recognised institution
- CV/Resume showcasing work experience
If you haven't studied at undergraduate level, we welcome applications from anyone who can demonstrate relevant professional experience or LIBF Chartered Associateship.

In place of work experience, you may be invited to interview or asked to submit a piece of written work to support your application.

English language requirements

If you’re a non-native English speaker, you’ll be asked to provide proof of your English language proficiency in one of the following forms.

Alternatively, you may be accepted if you have previously studied in English at an appropriate level and attended a recognised institution.
We happily accept students with a score of IELTS Level 6.5 or above with no element below 6.0. An online English test is offered (SPEEXX) if IELTS not available.
We happily accept students with a score of 88 overall (with 18 in reading, 19 in listening, 19 in speaking and 23 in writing).
We happily accept students with a score of 110 overall, with 100 in each component.

It takes just 45 to 60 minutes, and you’ll receive your results within two days. You can then send your certificate to us.

- An English Test IELTS score of at least 6.5 or equivalent is required if English is not your first language, unless proof of a Bachelor’s degree studied in English is provided
If you don't meet the requirements above but have equivalent experience or LIBF Chartered Associateship, we will consider your application and may still accept you. In this case, you will need to show that you can achieve at master’s level, and contribute to the debates, discussions and work of the learning set. We may ask to interview you or require an extra piece of written work with your application.
