Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics (FSRE)

Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics (FSRE)

Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics (FSRE) gives you an overview of the financial advice sector, focusing on key ethical and legal concerns and how they are overseen by the regulator.

About the qualification

FSRE provides a foundation on the financial services industry. The course covers the Financial Conduct Authority’s approach to ethical and unethical behaviours within the industry, its Code of Ethics, as well as some of the skills required to provide financial advice in today’s market.

If you work or aspire to work in the retail financial advice sector, FSRE will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to start your career on a strong footing, with a thorough understanding of how the financial service industry works – as well as the different components, interrelationships, and relevant legal concepts that influence how it is regulated.

FSRE also provides a platform for continued studies within financial services, as it is a compulsory module on several of our financial advice qualifications and on our industry-standard mortgage advice CeMAP qualification.

While studying with us, you’ll become a Member of LIBF (MLIBF), receiving benefits including careers support and access to professional networking events.
