MBA Artificial Intelligence (on-campus)

Every business wants AI adoption. Not enough have someone who can lead it. In fact, jobs specifically looking for AI skills are growing 8x faster than the job market, with a 62% wage premium (PwC Global AI Jobs Barometer, 2026).

The Walbrook MBA Artificial Intelligence (AI) programme builds that leader. Become someone who understands AI and machine learning, and uses tools like Power BI, Tableau and Google AutoML, while holding a strong understanding of strategy, finance, marketing and people leadership.

You'll study in the City of London, ranked 2nd globally for business strength, and 3rd for tech, leading Europe's tech ecosystem (Oxford Economics Global Cities Index and Savills Tech Cities Index, 2025). You don't need any coding experience to start, and you'll finish with a dissertation that looks at your area of business in the AI age.

Created for future business leaders ready to embrace artificial intelligence in their sector, this MBA gives you the grounding to shape business strategy, lead AI programmes, govern them responsibly, or even build your own company.

MBA Artificial Intelligence programme details

Lead in an AI economy that's short on leaders who understand it. Our MBA Artificial Intelligence programme builds the AI and machine learning fluency modern leadership roles increasingly demand – so you can evaluate and deploy AI-powered solutions with confidence. You'll also study the strategic management, human resource management and marketing communications skills every senior leader needs, with practical applications built into every module.

Every module is grounded in real-world business challenges, so you'll be able to see how your practical learning – from evaluating a machine learning model to designing a change plan – translates directly into career progression and ongoing professional development. You'll bring it together in a dissertation shaped by your own career goals, ready for AI leadership roles wherever they take you.

Academic English and Study Skills: pre-sessional programme for international students

If you'd find extra support with academic English writing helpful before starting the MBA Artificial Intelligence programme, you can join our short, face-to-face pre-sessional programme on campus. This is an optional, non-credit bearing module and forms part of your overall offer for the master's degree.

You’ll work on the skills you’ll use throughout your studies – including reading academic texts, writing for assessment, giving presentations, referencing, using the library, understanding Walbrook’s AI policy, and contributing confidently in seminars.

  • Joining us in November 2026? The pre-sessional programme begins on 21 September 2026. You’ll need to apply for both the pre-sessional programme and your MBA degree by 28 August 2026.
  • Joining us in March 2027? The pre-sessional programme will run in November and December 2026. We’ll confirm the exact dates and application deadline soon.

Career opportunities: MBA Artificial Intelligence

Senior AI roles are among the hardest in the UK to fill, with a shortage of experienced leaders slowing the adoption of AI technologies across industries (AI Labour Market Survey 2025, UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology). Studying face-to-face in the City of London, ranked 2nd in the world for global business strength (Oxford Economics Global Cities Index, 2025), puts you close to the organisations and business leaders hiring for exactly that gap, and into senior positions faster. You'll graduate with the strategic thinking, broader business knowledge and practical insight to lead AI-driven change and digital transformation from the inside, govern it properly, or build something of your own.

International students may also be eligible for the UK's Graduate Route visa, giving you up to 18 months after graduation to put that network and credibility to work in the United Kingdom, building the international mobility and career impact this MBA programme is designed for.
