Undergraduate tuition fees and funding

Planning for undergraduate study starts with understanding the costs. Whether you're applying from the UK or overseas, find out how much our undergraduate degrees cost, and what funding could be available.

Undergraduate tuition fees and funding

This page explains tuition fees and funding for UK and international undergraduate students studying full-time at Walbrook’s London campus.

Whether you're planning to use student finance or pay for your degree yourself, we'll help you understand the costs and funding options available before you start.

  • Undergraduate tuition fees

    • UK students: £10,050 per year.

    • International students: £18,500 per year, or £16,500 per year with a scholarship.

    • Course duration: both undergraduate degrees are studied full-time over three years, starting in September 2027.

  • Funding and payments

    • UK student finance: eligible students can apply for a government Tuition Fee Loan to cover their fees and a Maintenance Loan to help with living costs.

    • International scholarships: a scholarship offering a £2,000 annual tuition fee reduction is available, subject to eligibility.

Undergraduate tuition fees for UK and international students

The fees below apply to both of our undergraduate degrees. Tuition fees depend on whether you're classified as a UK or international student.

The fees shown are for the 2027/28 academic year.

  • On-campus

    UK domestic students

    Full-time: 3 years

    £10,050

    per academic year

UK students may be eligible for a government student loan to cover tuition fees.

  • On-campus

    International students

    Full-time: 3 years

    £18,500

    per academic year

Save £2,000 with scholarship: just £16,500 per year.

Tuition fees may increase each academic year. Any increase for UK students will be subject to government requirements.

Student finance for UK undergraduate students

If you're eligible for student finance, you can apply for government loans to help cover the cost of your degree and your living expenses while you study.

For students starting in September 2027, undergraduate funding in England will be available through the Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE), the government's student finance system for higher education.

  • Tuition Fee Loan

A Tuition Fee Loan helps cover the cost of your undergraduate degree. If you're eligible, the loan is paid directly to Walbrook, so you won't need to pay your tuition fees yourself.

You don't need to start repaying your loan until after you've finished your degree and your income is above the government's repayment threshold.

  • Maintenance Loan

A Maintenance Loan helps with living costs while you're studying, including accommodation, food and travel. The amount you could receive depends on your circumstances, including your household income and whether you'll be living at and commuting from home or living away from home.

Unlike your Tuition Fee Loan, your Maintenance Loan is paid directly into your bank account.

  • Who can apply for undergraduate student finance?

Your eligibility depends on factors including your nationality, residency status, previous study and the degree you're applying for.

If you normally live in England, you'll generally apply through Student Finance England. If you live in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, you'll need to apply through the relevant student finance provider for your home nation.

You can find out more about eligibility, applications and repayments in our undergraduate student finance guide.

Funding your degree as an international student

If you're joining Walbrook from outside the UK, it's important to plan how you'll cover your tuition fees and living costs before starting your degree.

How to pay your undergraduate tuition fees

How you pay your tuition fees will depend on whether you're using a government student loan or funding your degree yourself.

  • Paying with a Tuition Fee Loan: if you're eligible for a government Tuition Fee Loan and it covers your full tuition fees, your student finance provider will pay the loan directly to Walbrook on your behalf. You'll need to apply for student finance and make sure your funding is in place before starting your degree.

  • Paying your tuition fees yourself: if you're not using a Tuition Fee Loan, or you're an international student funding your own studies, you'll need to arrange payment directly with Walbrook. Our Admissions Team will provide information about payment methods, deadlines and any amounts due before enrolment.

What other costs should I budget for?

Alongside your tuition fees, it's worth thinking about your everyday expenses, including:

    • Travel: getting to campus and exploring London.

    • Food and everyday expenses: groceries, social activities and personal spending.

    • Study essentials: a laptop, stationery and any additional learning materials you might need.

    • Accommodation: rent, bills and household costs if you're moving away from home.

Your budget will depend on your lifestyle and where you choose to live, so you can plan around what works best for you.

Can I get help with living costs?

There may be financial support available to help you enjoy student life while managing your everyday expenses.

    • Eligible UK students can apply for a Maintenance Loan to help with living costs. How much you receive depends on your circumstances, including household income and whether you live at home or away from home.

    • International students can explore funding opportunities in their home country and plan their budget ahead of arriving in London. If you need a Student visa, you'll also need to meet the UK government's financial requirements.

  • Make the most of London while living at home

You don't have to move away from home to experience student life in London! Many of our students choose to commute to campus, making the most of their time in London while continuing to live at home.

Walbrook's London campus is well connected by Tube, DLR and bus, making it accessible from across London and surrounding areas. You could even use your journey to catch up on reading or studying.

If commuting is an option for you, living at home could help you save on accommodation costs while enjoying everything the capital has to offer – from career opportunities and networking to its culture, events and student life.
