Each year, we come together to celebrate academic achievements. In 2023, our Graduation and Presentation Ceremony returned to the London Guildhall on 20 October, where over 120 students graduated from our programmes.
Notable recipients included Sarah Breeden, Executive Director for Financial Stability Strategy and Risk at the Bank of England, and Joanna Elson, Chief Executive Officer of Independent Age, who received honorary master's degrees. Dr Ahmed Al Shaikh, CEO of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, was honoured with a Fellowship.
This year, our industry-leading Annual Trade Finance Compliance Conference (ATFCC) returned as a face-to-face event at Peninsula House, London on 21 June 2023. It focused on trade finance challenges, global trade development, and London's role as a trade finance centre.
Leading compliance experts, regulators, and practitioners addressed delegates, sharing insights on the latest industry trends and topics, encompassing landmark legal cases and compliance issues.
LIBF’s mortgage conference was held at Congress Centre in London on 19 April 2023.
Our main aim was to educate and inform mortgage professionals on the most pressing issues facing the sector today, and for the future.
The event was supported by a wide range of speakers and sponsors from across the sector, including the FCA.
The Awards began in 1998 to celebrate all that was new and innovative in the banking and finance industry.
