How to become chartered
Chartered status shows your customers and colleagues that you’re highly qualified, experienced and committed to the highest professional and ethical standards.

Professional certification offers a way for you to showcase your knowledge, skills and experience. It can help you stand out in the jobs market, reassure clients that you adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards, and demonstrate specialist expertise in a particular field.
In some instances, professional certification is a mandatory requirement – retail financial advisers, for example, are required to hold a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) to practice in the UK.
So whether it’s a digital badge showing you’ve completed a professional qualification, a Statement of Professional Standing, or chartered status, showcasing your professional credentials has the potential to unlock further career opportunities, boost your professional credibility, and demonstrate your commitment to ongoing learning.
